There are so many self-help, “new year – new me”, weight loss, gimmicky programs out there that it’s hard to keep track. A good friend of ours did this last year and the changes we witnessed in her were unbelievable. She’s the reason I’m giving this a go. I started my program the day after Christmas.
This is about as simple as it gets. Notice, I said SIMPLE…by no means is it easy. You can learn more about this and the guy who came up with it from his site.
Bottom Line: You do 5 things every day for 75 days. No “off days”. No changing the program to “fit” your schedule. That’s it. 5 things. Everyday.
- Pick a meal plan that works for you, and stick to it. The hardest part here: IT CANNOT INCLUDE ANY ALCOHOL. NONE.
- Drink 1 gallon of water everyday.
- You must do TWO (45min.) workouts daily…and one of these MUST be outside.
- You must read at least 10 pages of a non-fiction / educational / self-help book daily.
- You must take a picture (shirtless) of yourself daily. You don’t have to share it…this is can be for your eyes only.
That’s it. No money needed. No frozen meals. Just commitment.
I adopted a meal plan from a guy I work with: Lots of protein (beef, chicken, fish) and carbs from vegetables & fruits. I may mix in some intermittent fasting to keep my body guessing…but my plan is to keep sugar and breads to a minimum. <<< That’s gonna be tough cause I LOVE me some pasta! The great thing is: it’s completely up to you…you just have to stick to it.
