about me

why did i make this?

I wanted an online presence without using the standard social media outlets. While I agree they have their benefits, I believe they are ultimately degrading our society. I won’t get on my soap box – it’s just my opinion. That said, welcome to my little corner of the interwebs!

I’ve journaled in the past and find it interesting to look back at previous thoughts and experiences. It’s a cool way to empty my head. I also have a love for web design & development, so I figured a blog was a great way to marry the two.

This is just my collection of stories, thoughts, musings, quotes & ideas. Enjoy!

husband. dad. jtac.

I was married on a beautiful October day in 2011. Like most great things in life, meeting my wife was not planned or expected. Through the past 12 years, we’ve been through the typical ups and downs that marriage brings – balancing each other in ways neither of us could have imagined. I’m lucky to have found her – and not sure where I’d be if I hadn’t.

Two short years later, I became a dad. Perhaps the most surprising aspect I’ve learned along the way is that no one ever really has it figured out! Our son is a bright, athletic, handsome & hilarious kid. He makes me more proud than I ever thought possible.

I’ve been a US Air Force TACP / JTAC for my entire military career. We recently morphed into Special Warfare and the new mission sets that come with that have us all excited. We are becoming the forefathers of an entirely new TACP mission.
