Lil man’s favorite Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) team is the “Waterdogs” (likely because he’s coached by one of their players) – a close second is “Chrome”…and they won the 2023 PLL Championship!
We went down to D.C. (actually Virginia) to the “St. James Sports Complex” and watched a VERY exciting game!
Lacrosse wasn’t available when I was comin’ up – and MAN do I wish it was! It’s the speed of soccer, the physicality of football – played at the pace of hockey. It traces its roots to Native Americans and is a BLAST to play, watch…and coach (which I’m doing now).
There’s an indoor version called “Box” and our local complex offers it…there’s a Men’s league…hmmmm – thinking I’m gonna join that!
